Internal audit on ISO9001, OHSHAS18001 & ISO14001
One of our QHSE specialists performed an internal audit on a project in northern Russia. Our client, an offshore contractor, is working for contractors of Gazprom in very north of Russia.
During the audit, the project office, a rock loading facility and one of their ships were visited. Various interviews and checks were held. The scope of the audit focussed on the project execution procedures, which are based on the international standards ISO 9001 for Quality Management / OHSAS 18001 For Occupational Health & Safety Management and ISO 14001 for Environmental Management.
The approach of our auditor in this audit was to focus in the degree of implementation of the procedures, as well as to focus on the critical processes and therefore in particular the responsibilities and degree of leadership in making descisions by project management.
It came out that our client was well organized and that quality, safety and environment were managed to a high level.
