ISM/ISPS Coordinator
Job Description
For one of our nautical clients, we are recruiting for a ISM/ISPS Coordinator.
You assist the commanders of our client's dredgers
throughout the world in the application of the ISM and ISPS
regulations and their audits. You are thoroughly familiar with the
supervision and implementation of the quality assurance
systems.
You follow ISM and ISPS legislation and prepare the annual audit
programme in consultation with the QA-HSES Manager. You attend to
the execution of the audits and establish the audit programme. You
watch over the safety and environmental aspects of the operation of
each vessel. You distribute the findings to all vessels, all
parties concerned and the QA-HSES department and you provide
shore-based resources and support.
Your profile
- You have been trained as an ISM/ISPS internal auditor and have experience in working in a similar position.
- You work entirely independently but are also a good team worker.
- You are a very good communicator.
- You can express yourself clearly and fluently in English (spoken and written).
- You are prepared to make short trips to overseas sites.
We'd like to come into contact with candidates with the following profile:
- Higher Vocational Education (HBO);
- Graduated for Nautical- or Mechanical Engineering College;
- Broad knowledge and experience in SHE-Q issues and process-safety on board of vessels;
- Experience in (internal) auditing on ISM/ CSO/ VCA/ HACCP;
- Understand, speak and write Dutch and English fluent;
- Self-reliant and independent personallity;
- At least 3-5 year relevant working experience.
